Wow what a great chapter. You went AU in a completely original manner as no way did anyone see what was coming - that is that Angel knew about Riley and the Initiative and took the initiative (*g*) to contact the general and deal with them through channels.

I love how confident Angel is that his worked-with Xander can deal with 6 demons. Also, like your other commenters, I loved the Spike/Angel/Xander banter and dynamics. What a marvelous series this is and I can't wait to see where you take us next.
