Awww, Spike and Xander, bonding! And Spike didn't bedevil him *too* much, which was actually rather considerate of him...and no doubt he'll make up for it, later.

Interesting idea about "keeping it in the clan" making it ok to fool around with an approved set of people. I like that Cordelia is included in their minds, though I doubt that'll make much difference to her. Spike was amusing, with his "good on you!" and thinking Xander was adorably confused, etc...he's dangerously close to doting, there. :)

I loved Xander's growing maturity here. He really cares about Cordelia and Faith, both.
