Some of my universes nod at canon (Second Verse), some are canon based, and others are just off in left field. There is no way that Mangled Spells or Your Bloody Fault are anywhere near canon voices. Nope, not even. However, I really did want this to be a canon-friendly piece of Xangel, and that's hard.

In canon, Angel spent a hundred years crawling alleys and now growing up and then spent this time with Buffy, who had largely not grown up. He then checked out for the better part of a year in hell. Here, he's been forced to grow up fast and take a more parental role both to Xander and Faith. His age is showing. However, he is wandering farther from canon that Xander. *shrug*
