The terms Xander-babble and Willow-babble are so established, they're fanon, but in fact, it was more the way he talked, as stream of consciousness, and the way he used slang and metaphor. You have got it beautifully here. And I love the way you leave it to the reader to imagine how this one speech will change the future.

Purely for interest, I had a look and Xander had 1,880 speeches in the first 2 seasons. About 12% of those were longer than 20 words and only a handful as long as 50.
