Let's Celebrate (a lack of WIPs) PROMPT CALL

Hey, I just finished Moon Magic! I need to sit on the last chapter and think about the ending a bit, but it's done, which means that I don't have ANY WIPs going right now (Toys is a series of freestanding stories, not really a WIP). So, I've seen this meme around, and I want to play.

So, my flist, if you had me under your command, what would you command me to write?

BTW, I want to write some short stories, something to just play with the muse without the work of an epic, so if your comment doesn't tickle the muse or if it tickles the muse into an epic-length bunny, please don't take offense if I don't write you anything. Well, I'm a big fan of the D/s kink (hence the LJ handle :) and I think what really got me where it counts with your Jayne/River pairing was River as the super-strong dominant with the genuine caring for Jayne, doing what she did to give him what he needed. And Jayne (big, rough, strong Jayne) as a sub was, um, kind of the hottest thing I've read in a while.

So, how about a slice of life (PWP so not a problem *grin*) post the end of Thoughts Colored Ugly? Even better if River picks up on Mal wondering about what she and Jayne get up to together...maybe River even feels the need to prove to Mal that Jayne is hers?

*sheepish smile* Did I mention that story was really, really hot?

Oh no WAY. That was your first? *blinks* Damn, woman.
Of course, I'm of the opinion that good writers (of which you are, undoubtedly, one) can work any pairing as long as it interests/intrigues them. And there are so many cool points of conflict with Jayne/River - Jayne's stubbornness, River's mental state, what he tried to do to them and Simon's disapproval...with material like that, how could you go wrong?
BTW, do you have any original works out there, published or otherwise? Your fanfiction is superb, I'd love to see what else you've done.
