The memories don't seem to be as traumatic either. Not that the situation wasn't horrific, just that Blair's presence seems to be easing the pain of recalling the past. And that just begs the question of whether or not Jim will feel safe enough to allow Blair to help him use what he learned before and to explore this further. Or will Jim's need to protect Blair put stumbling blocks in the way, despite acknowledgement and assertion from both of them that Blair is more than capable of taking care of himself?
